Value Propositions.

Reduce Patient Care Variability.

XK300 will provide nurses and staff with consistent, reliable information that will allow them to make more informed decisions and provide a better quality of care.

Reduce Staff Turnover Rates by 15~20%.

Staffing shortages have been a major issue within the long term care industry with turnover rates being ~20% across North America. The main factors impacting turnover are increased administrative burden and a lack of defined roles and responsibilities. XK300 will allow LTC facilities to better manager their staff resulting in a reduction in administrative time and greater operational efficiency.

Reduce Administrative Burden for Staff by 55%.

Through market research and interviews with industry experts, it was determined that the main cause of turnover is due to undefined roles and responsibilities and the burden associated with delegable tasks. XK300 sensors will reduce nursing time associated with charting and vital checks and allow the Director of Nursing to reassign resources and reallocate their time to focus on value-added activities.

Provide the Ultimate
Peace of Mind
for Resident Families.

Gastroenterology Monitoring with A-CFCM:

Monitoring the number of bathroom trips, including how long (dwell time) and how many times you sat on the toilet can provide important insight to gastroenterology conditions. 90 seconds or less on the toilet seat may be defined as urination while over 3 minutes may indicate bowel movement. If a resident or patient is going too frequently it could signal signs of kidney troubles, BPH, bladder stones or diabetes insipidus among many. Longer duration for bowel movement compared to previous days (baseline) could indicate signs of bacterial infection, constipation, viral infection or pancreatitis. Get trend alerts and powerful insight to gastroenterology health conditions without invading privacy.

A-CFCM of Vital Signs, Motion and Presence.

Most critical health events are preceded by respiratory warning signs six to eight hours prior to the event. Therefore, constant monitoring of respiratory rate is the most effective way to get ahead of a future medical event that can require costly intervention by first responders and/or doctors. Bed Exit Warning System for
Fall Prevention.

Research reveals that 45.2% of falls in hospitals were toileting related and 41.3% of falls occurred from 11pm to 7am. 23 out of 28 staff surveyed confirmed that “bed exit” alert was extremely important With one XK300 placed near the bed, the system can detect “Bed Presence” in 1 millisecond and “Bed Vacancy” within 20-40 seconds (delayed response to compensate for potential sleep apnea phase). Know when they are out of bed and alert staff in time to help them get around their room without falling.
